frag·ile adj \ˈfra-jəl, -ˌjī(-ə)l\
easily broken or destroyed
constitutionally delicate : lacking in vigor
Synonyms: breakable, delicate, frail, frangible.
Fragile implies extreme delicacy of material or construction and need for careful handling
I am fragile. We, as a human race, are fragile, whether we want to admit it or not. We need to handle each other carefully. We need to think carefully before we speak, so our words are not arrows that wound. We are fragile packages, needing careful handling.
We are much like fragile flowers, beautiful, delicate and yet easily damaged. Our fragile petals are thin, yet that thinness, allows the light to radiate through us. May God's light shine through our fragile hearts.
